How To Fix CorelDraw X7 From Switching To Viewer Mode When Connected To The Internet

Most CorelDraw X7 users are being faced with the challenge of the product switching to viewer mode anytime they connect their PC to the internet, this makes it impossible for them to access some crucial features on the Product such as Save, Save As, Publish To PDF, Export, Send To etc.

The following steps can be taken to fix this problem

Step 1:
Uninstall and re-install CorelDraw X7

Step 2:
Once you have successfully re-installed X7, press the Windows button and search for Firewall then click Windows Defender Firewall

Step 3:
Click Advanced Settings





Step 4:
On the "Windows Defender Firewall With Advanced Security" window, click Inbound Rules (On the Left Side) and click New Rule (on the Right Side)



Step 5:
On the Rule Type Window, select Program and click Next



Step 6:
On the Program Window, select This Program Path and click browse then locate and click CorelDRW icon (C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7\Programs64) and click Open then click Next.


Step 7:
On the Action Window, click Block The Connection and click Next


Step 8:
On the Name Window, put any name in the Name box and click Finish...


Step 9:

On the "Windows Defender Firewall With Advanced Security" window, click Outbound Rules (On the Left Side) and click New Rule (on the Right Side)

Step 10:

Follow Steps 5 to 8 above
